All graduate roles require a minimum of a 2:2 classification (or equivalent, ie 50% or above) in a relevant degree and less than 2 years post graduate relevant work experience.

SITUATIONAL JUDGEMENT TEST

An online interactive test helps AECOM assess how you would react in scenarios likely at AECOM. Just as importantly it helps you decide whether AECOM is right for you.

FINAL STAGE ASSESSMENT

If successfully shortlisted for final stage, you will be invited for a technical assessment or full assessment day with the team you are being considered for.

OPPORTUNITIES

Every year, AECOM offers around 200 summer and industrial placements across their key practice lines — Environment and Design, Planning and Economics among them.

 

Duration: summer placements - 6 to 8 weeks,

industrial placements - 6 to 12 months.

 

Your placement enables you to learn ‘the AECOM way’ and culture. You are provided with a broad exposure to the practice line, thorough training where required, and an opportunity to demonstrate your ability and potential. You can develop your technical skills and your knowledge of the industry as a whole.

 

Strong performing students may be offered sponsorship for the remainder of their degree course, and subsequently a position within our graduate development programme upon successfully completing their degree course. Our sponsored students receive £1,500 per academic year and are expected to return for paid placements during the summer break. ​
