Farrells is a leading architecture and urban design firm that is internationally recognised. Farrells specialises in high quality, mixed-use urban complexes, often based around transport interchanges.

Farrells always strives to understand the place and reveal its qualities, history and patterns. They seek to embrace the aspirations of existing communities and the people who know the place best. Collaboration and inclusiveness are ingrained in the way they work, because great places are the work of many hands.

Farrells strongly believes in holistic design and strives to bring projects from advocacy to completion. They tell the ‘story of the place’ from what it was to what it could become and build consensus with all of the stakeholders along the way. They create a ‘spatial design’ of what the place will look and feel like supported by strong and clear understanding of economics and policy at all levels.

The company outlines a step by step ‘roadmap for implementation’ which allows projects to gain planning consent quickly with a broad consensus. They then support clients in delivering the vision through detailed planning, building design and construction supervision.
